“Some fourteen hundred and fifteen hundred years before Poggio set out to see what he could find, Lucretius’ contemporaries had read his poem, and it continued to be read for several centuries after it’s publication.” The reason I chose this section is because I find it unique how though the work they were find was from centuries and centuries ago, we still study and Lucretius’s work. Not only that but we still use some of their work in the real world today still.
