I had the opportunity to interview Zack Ramos, a class of 2026 communications major student here at UNE and he opened my eyes about the opportunities that this school has to offer. “UNE has a number of options to set yourself up to be successful. I plan to use my degree in hopes of becoming a sports broadcaster and truly love the opportunities UNE gives me for my future!” Zack also talks about the work we do in our classes. “ We get the opportunity to work with on set equipment, use the best quality film production equipment, and learn how to edit your film work.” I believe the best information that I found out about that I didn’t know about is that communications requires an internship for our program! “One of the reasons UNE has such a high percentage in job placement is the internships we offer here. Not only that but for our communications program at UNE, we require you to have an internship to get your degree here! Once you get over the freshman hump your eyes truly open up about the program for YOURSELF!
